Daily Prayer: February 13, 2015

I Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”Our Father in Heaven whose Divine wisdom saw best not to reveal to us many of the mysteries of life and death, we worship you in faith trusting our souls into your eternal care. Here in this temporal life we look through the dark glass and the answers to many of our questions are not clearly seen. We do not understand the heavy burden of human suffering, the seeming triumph of evil, the complicated circumstances that are brought to bear in our lives, or how you could love us enough to give your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sin.

But – until then our hearts will go on singing and praising you for your works of grace in our lives through our Blessed Redeemer.

Amen.
