Daily Prayer: February 10, 2015

Isaiah 40:1 “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.”Dear Father, Creator of all mankind and Ruler of all nature, we come to You for comfort in these troubled days. We are thankful for a place of refuge and for the haven of rest in Christ.

There are many rough places in life over which we must cross, to live in thy strength is our desire.

We especially ask Your help today for those who have lost loved ones and for those who live in the memory of one who has gone before. Comfort the bereaved and the lonely with Youry marvelous understanding.

Grant to this one who seeks You now the strength necessary to live as a conqueror today through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
