Mrs. Rena’ Yvonne Bennett, age 55 of Epworth, passed away February 6, 2015 at her home following a long battle with cancer.Mrs. Bennett was born August 16, 1959 in Houston, TX to the late William Ray Smith and June Bandy Smith. She was a member of The McCaysville Church of Christ.
Rene’ was preceded in death by Father, William Ray Smith, grandparents, Mark & Thelma Smith of Houston, TX and nephew, Kevin Smith..
Survivors include: Husband, Steven “Steve” Bennett; daughter, Leah Rena’ Bennett; step-son, Michael Steven Bennett, granddaughters, Hanah Green, Lily Bennett, and Macie Bennett; parents, Jim and June Smith Bandy; sister, Anna Louray Smith, brother, Darren Joseph Smith, sister, Pamela Bandy of Knoxville, TN; Ball, brother, James Todd Bandy of Seattle, WA; several nieces & nephews.
Memorial service will be held February 21, 2015 at the McCaysville Church of Christ, with Minister Bill Johnston and Minister Keith Ritchie officiating.
