Daily Prayer: February 6, 2015

Proverbs 3:11 “My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of His correction.”Our heavenly Father, you always deal lovingly with your children. There are times when we need to be corrected. Your chastisement is good for us even though we do not always understand it.

Our lives are so prone to wayward wandering away from you. May we learn to trust in you with all our hearts and acknowledge you in all our ways.

Dear Father, you know of the proneness of this person who seeks you just now. May, through fellowship with you, this person stay on the straight and narrow way today.

Grant peace in our world. Bless our troops who are overseas with the knowledge that you are with them.

Amen.
