Agnes Louise Uhlik: Obituary

Agnes Louise Uhlik, age 96, of Turtletown, TN passed away on February 2, 2015. Born in Nemacolin, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Furman. Mrs. Uhlik had worked many years as a secretary for the Seven Hills Police Department in OH. She moved from Seven Hills, OH to Turtletown in 2004. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Copperhill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Uhlik, a daughter, Donna Schnitz and a granddaughter, Rebecca Schnitz.

Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Allen and Holly Uhlik of Turtletown, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Maryjane “M.J.” Uhlik and Kathy and Tom Craft of Murrels Inlet, SC; brother, Bill Furman of FL; sister, Marie Phillips of OH; five grandchildren (Benjamin Schnitz, Allison Harkins, Zachary Craft, Heather Uhlik and AJ Uhlik) and two great grandchildren (Bentley Harkins and Elliott Schnitz).

A Memorial Mass will be held by the Uhlik family at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church on February 21, 2015 starting with the rosary at 9:30 A.M. followed by a mass about 10 AM with Father Tom Moser officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Divine Mercy Society at St. Catherine Laboure in memory of Agnes Uhlik are requested.

Interment will follow in at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park OH, at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill was in charge of the arrangements.
