Mrs. Pearl Poteet Pinson Dockery: Obituary

Mrs. Pearl Poteet Pinson Dockery, age 82 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Mineral Bluff, GA.Mrs. Dockery was born on April 12, 1932 in Fannin County, GA. She was a retired hairdresser. Mrs. Dockery was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Pinson and Melvin Dockery and son, Ronnie Pinson.

Surviviors are daughter and son-in-law, Sheila F. and Bill Kyle of Mineral Bluff, GA; three stepsons and their wives, Paul and Alene Dockery of Mineral Bluff, GA, Jackie and Kathleen Pinson of Atlanta, GA and Joe Pinson of KS; stepdaughter and spouse, Barbara and Jim Burns of Dalton, GA; daughter-in-law, Joyce Pinson of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren and spouse, Stacy and David Guthrie and Chris Pinson; three great grandchildren, Tiffany Pinson, Ashley Guthrie and Christian Guthrie also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hughes officiating. Inurnment will be in Copper Ridge Memory Gardens. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
