John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”O God, enable us to pause amidst the frantic rush and ponder the deep truths that are treasures of grace offered freely to us who know you in personal faith. We need peace of mind and we shall endeavor to live in the promise that “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee.”
May our thoughts be channeled into wholesome and constructive patterns that you can use to build us up in faith. Help the roots of our faith to be so deeply imbedded in truth that the howling winds of adversity cannot topple us. In family tension may we be calm. In sickness may we be gallant. In persecution may we be brave. In temptation may we be strong.
Give to this person who reads this prayer just now the desire to be more by living on a different level with you through Christ, the Lord of life.
