Mrs. Charlsie Sullivan Deaver: Obituary

Mrs. Charlsie Sullivan Deaver, age 91, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday December 22, 2014 at Union County Nursing Home.Mrs. Deaver was born January 10, 1923 in Blairsville, GA to the late Wiley and Bertha Nichols Sullivan. Mrs. Deaver was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of Ivy Log Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Deaver; son, Danny Deaver and three daughters, Sherrie Allison, Barbara Garrett and Sandra Foster.

Loving family members left to treasure her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Carolyn Sullivan; daughter, Carolyn Hughes;grandchildren, Lori Houston, Corey Sullivan, Amanda Hughes, Jason Deaver, David Deaver, Dale Duckworth, Timmy Duckworth, Johnny Allison; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Deaver were held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with the Rev. Jerry Karnes officiating. Specially selected music was provided by Cindy Whitmore. Interment followed in the Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen were honored to serve as pallbearers: Timmy Duckworth, Corey Sullivan, Scott Hughes, Stacy Chambers, Jess Deaver, and Steve Roberson.

Friends called anytime after 8:30 a.m. Friday, however, the family especially met with friends Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
