Rocky Top Ln.

Dispatched 3:42pm Arrived 3:48pm Cleared 7:56pm

Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Rocky Top Ln for the report of a house fire. First arriving units found a house fully involved with flames. Engine 11 deployed 2 attack lines, and started bringing fire under control. Fire was spotting small fire in nearby field. Propane tank had to be protected and nearby hay barn. Engine 7 supplied Engine 11 with first load of water and then established water supply from hydrant. Old Hwy 76 had to be shut down due to hydrant location. Fannin County Sheriffs Deputy’s assisted with road closure. Local investigator and State Fire Marshall investigating the cause of the fire.

Engine 11 Engine 7 Tanker 2 Medic 6 Air & Light And fire fighters responded to the call.

Victory Ridge

Dispatched: 1630 Arrived: 1637 Cleared: 1744

Fannin County Fire Department was paged out to the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, Engine 11 found a small brush fire with a hot tub and deck involved. E11 deployed 1 – 1 3/4″ attack line and a booster line to extinguish flames. Engine 8 supplied Engine 11 while tanker 2 and Union County Tanker 2 staged in the area. Fire was completely extinguished and units returned to service.

Hawks View

Dispatched: 0323 Arrived: 0335 Cleared: 0537

Fannin County Fire Department responded to the above location in reference to the report of a deck fire. Upon arrival found flames showing above the residence with fire moving to the interior of the house from the outside covered deck. Firefighters deployed 2 attack lines and extinguished fire. All units returned to service. Local and state fire marshal are investigating fire.
