“Pour out your hearts before Him.” Psalm 62:8
Dear Father in Heaven, we bow before you to pour out our hearts. We have a tendency to bottle up within us all the cares of life. Somehow we try to work out our problems alone, but are never really successful in doing so. We wait until the burdens grow heavy and beat us down before we ask for strength.
Look now into our hearts and hear patiently the things that we are to confess to you. The invitation of Jesus to “Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” is a soothing balm for us. Help us to let go and release our frustrations, tensions, cares and all forms of heartache to you: through Christ who understands our every problem.
Amen.
