Mr. William Timothy “Tim” Walden: Obituary

Mr. William Timothy “Tim” Walden, age 46, of Epworth, GA passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his home.Mr. Walden was born in Copperhill, TN on February 12, 1968. He worked for many years as a machine operator at Blue Ridge Carpet Mills in Ellijay, GA but had most recently worked for Blue Ridge Manufacturing. He was a member of Epworth First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rebekah Walden of Epworth; son, Aaron Walden and daughter, Grace Walden, both of Epworth; parents William and Frances Walden of Epworth; brother, Joseph Walden of McCaysville; sister, Tammy Walden of Epworth and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Epworth, GA with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music will be by Rev. Doug Simonds and Vernon Owenby. Pallbearers will be by Chris Mull, Chuck Key, Darryl Walden, Anthony Walden, John Johnson, and Tim Long. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons and Members of the Brotherhood of First Baptist Church Epworth, GA. Interment will follow in Epworth Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Mr. Walden may be made to help defray final expenses. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
