Daily Prayer: 11/06/2014

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.” Galatians 5:22-23 When we enter your presence, O God, we see you high and lifted up. In this moment of prayer we ask that your Holy Spirit shall dwell in us. May we love in response to your love; discover the joy of life that is hidden except to those who pay the price; share with others the peace that passeth all understanding; be longsuffering with the afflictions of life and gentle with those who are burdened.

Give us faith to believe that all things are possible through your mighty power; meekness to live in humility before our fellowman and temperance in all things in order that we may live well balanced lives.
May this person who prays seeking a deeper meaning to life find it in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Amen.
