Mrs. Joyce Ann Johnson: Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Ann Johnson, age 65, of Copperhill, TN passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home.Mrs. Jonson was born in McCaysville, GA to the late Roy Frank and Alice Maybell Graves Self. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She had worked at Levi Strauss as a Sewing Machine Operator.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Reece” Johnson of the home; Daughters, Ronda (Terry) Beaver of Copperhill, TN, Sandra Waters of Benton, TN, Rachel Roberts of Copperhill, TN; brothers, Jerry Allen Self of Cartersville, GA, Billy Joe Hartness of Murphy, NC; sister, Linda Beal of Murphy, NC; four grandchildren, Hailey Beaver, Kenneth Beaver, Levi Roberts and Trea Waters; one great grandchild, Braxton Beaver.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Faron Turner and Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Music will be by Frankie Sneed. Pallbearers include Terry Beaver, Kenneth Beaver, Dusty Beal, Earl Tipton, James Whitener and Logan Shields. Honorary pallbearers include, Levi Roberts, Leland Burger and Allen Self. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
