Mrs. Grace Ellen Wood, age 94 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.Mrs. Wood was born September 29, 1920 in White, GA to the late Pascal P. Adams and the late Mollie Adams. She was of the Baptist faith. A long time resident of Riverdale County, before moving to Mineral Bluff, GA with her late husband James F. wood..
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Dessie (David) Williams, son, Leon Wood, daughter, Grace Goode, son and daughter-in-law, James (Jeanette) Wood, 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, of McCaysville, GA with the Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Bill Pittman officiating. Music provided by: A.C. Caylor family . Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park, in Canton, GA. Pallbearers: Richard Goode, Shane Goode, Scott Williams, Keith Williams, Matthew Wood & Zachery Plott.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, of McCaysville, GA. Sunday, November 2, 2014, from noon until service time at 1:00 P.M.
