“ I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.” Psalm 3:4-6.
Like parents who recognize the cry of their child, you hear the cry of your children when they pray to you, O Lord. When the answer comes, sleep is not far behind. When we awake in the morning, we can face the day with courage for grace has sustained us.
We can live without fear of what anyone can do to us. We are safe in the care of the lover of our souls.
Bless this person who reads these lines with these grace assurances. In Jesus Name.
Amen.
