Technology students from Fannin County High and Middle Schools recently attended CORE officer training in Clayton, GA. The purpose of the conference is to give students the opportunity to learn the roles of the President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, and Sergeant at Arms. Students participate in training classes and create their Program of Work for the school year. Students are also given the opportunity to build teamwork on the climbing wall and high ropes courses.
Part of the mission of TSA is to educate students on roles and responsibilities of leaders. These students are taking what they learned at the conference and applying it to the day to day activities in their TSA chapters.
