“Submit yourselves to God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” James 4:7-10.Coming out of our waywardness of sin we humbly bow in your presence and ask for cleansing, O Lord. We weep over our impurities before your holiness. But when we are forgiven our mourning turns to joy.
Help us to draw near to you today for that is the sphere of our victory. We can resist all the attempts of Satan when we are close to you. If this person who now prays is experiencing spiritual warfare give this one the glory of your presence. We pray in our conqueror, Jesus.
