The Rotary Club of Blue Ridge invites you to join them for the Ninth Annual Rotary Train Event on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad Friday, September 19, 2014. Once again, North Georgia Ford and Autotrader.com presents the Rotary Blues Train. Guests will enjoy a Rolling Beer & Wind Party on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway; Dinner Catered by Mercier Orchards; Live music & street dance with the Buckner Brothers Band. Ticket price includes: appetizers, beverages, street dance, train ride and catered dinner by Mercier Orchards.
The Rotary Blues Train has joined forces with the Blue Ridge Lodging Association Blues & BBQ Festival which brings over 6000 people to Blue Ridge on Saturday, September 20th. The Rotary Blues Train and Street Dance is a designated venue for the events’ Friday Night Downtown Blues Crawl. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Proceeds from the event will support both the Programs of Rotary and the Ferst Foundation Literacy Project which provides books to children from birth to five years of age. More than 400 children in Fannin County have received free books mailed to their homes each month through this program. Over 20,000 books delivered through this program in Fannin County so far!
This will be a great time to visit Blue Ridge. Several cabins and restaurants are available for those who would enjoy a weekend get-away.
