Harold Joseph “Kit” Carson, 63, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Friday September 5, 2014 at his residence.Mr. Carson was retired from the United States Army, and he was a voting member of the Knifemakers Guild. He was a Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame inductee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Arrie Carson, and one nephew Glenn Carson.
Survivors include his wife Betty Carson, two children, Jody Carson and his wife Susan, and Kristi Carson, and grandchildren Colton Eastman, Anya and Josephine Carson, one brother, Fred Carson, two sisters, Ann Farmer and Ruth Turpin, and a host of family and close friends.
A celebration of his life, with military honors for Kit will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at the Chapel of Coffey and Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Visitation will begin after noon on Wednesday.
At the request of the family, everyone is asked to wear casual clothing and bright colors in honor of his life.
