The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels volleyball team is has is 9-3 on the season, with the last two losses coming Heritage and Rockmart at the Lumpkin County Invitational. During the Lady Rebels rousing start, Fannin has flexed its muscle, with nine wins in the first 10 games, including a sweep of the rival, Gilmer High School Lady Bobcats.The Lady Rebels started the season 5-0 before Fannin fell to North Cobb Christian (2-1). The Lady Rebels bounced back with a straight set sweep of the Lady “Cats” from Gilmer, followed by 2-1 win over Rabun County.
The Lady Rebels next traveled to Lumpkin County for the invitational, beating Gilmer again (2-1) before jacking up Johnson in straight sets.
Fannin fell in the aforementioned last two games to Heritage and Rockmart, both in straight sets, and will next face Lafayette at home on Thursday August 28th at 5:00pm.
