Mrs. Stella E. Waters, age 85 of Morganton, passed away August 10, 2014 at Heritage Health Care Of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Waters was born February 8, 1929 in Morganton, GA to the late D. P. Underwood and the late Rady Woody Underwood. A member of Wilscot Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by father, D. P. Underwood, mother, Rady Underwood, sister, Geneva Cruse, brother, Dorsen Underwood, brother, Joe Underwood.
Survivors include: daughter, Vivian (Bill) Collins, daughter, Violet Bailey, daughter & son-in-law, Virginia (Milton) Huntley, son & daughter-in-law, Vernon (Susan) Waters, son & daughter-in-law, Victor (Marina) Waters, daughter & son-in-law, Victoria (Vince) Demsky, daughter & son-in-law, Vanette (Edmond) Merideth, brother, Evan (Ellen) Underwood, brother, Ethridge (Teny) Underwood, sister, Marie Addington, 20 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren,.
Funeral services: Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Victor Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Wilscot Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
