Fannin Schools Have a Great First Day

Fannin County Schools opened the doors this morning for a great first day of classes.Students all over the county got to catch up with friends and get ready for an exciting year.

Fifth graders at West Fannin Elementary got a fun filled start to the year.

The North Georgia Honor Guard was on hand to teach students proper flag etiquette. Eighty five students filled the cafeteria to listen to the presentation lead by Lt Col George Pletcher.

Students were given his or her own flag and taught how to fold and handle the flag with respect.
