Fannin County Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire. While en route to location dispatch advised there was a report of 2 injuries. Upon arrival of first unit, noticed 2 story structure over a basement fully involved. All persons were out of the residence and at a neighbor’s residence. Med 1 arrived on scene to begin patient care. Upon Engine 1 arrival pulled 2 – 1 ¾” attack lines to begin defensive attack protecting the propane tank on the B side of structure and vehicles on the D side of structure. Noticed one vehicle on A side of structure fully involved and other vehicles on D side of
structure were beginning to show damage. 134 pulled 2 vehicles away from structure with his pickup truck to protect them from further damage. One motorcycle and pickup truck were still adjacent to structure which personnel protected with hose line. Once water shuttle was established began defensive attack on structure to extinguish fire. M-1 transported 2 patients to Fannin Regional Hospital. Personnel extinguished fire from around structure and inside the foundation. Fire was contained to the foundation at this time and

24 Fire Department personal responded. State Fire Marshall and Sheriff Department investigating the cause of the fire.
