Events for Independence Day 2014:

July 03, 2014 Fireworks, Downtown McCaysville. Fireworks begin at 9:30 but get there early for a place to park and enjoy the downtown festivities.

July 03, 2014 Firecracker Special Train Ride, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Train begins boarding at 7:00 and departs at 7:30 for a ride along the Toccoa River to McCaysville for the fireworks. Reservations are strongly suggested so you don’t miss this awesome opportunity. 800-934-1898 or 706-632-9833

July 04, 2014 4th of July at Epworth, 125 Schoolhouse Rd. Epworth, across from Epworth United Methodist Church.

July 04, 2014 to July 05, 2014 Miner’s Homecoming Weekend and Fireworks in Ducktown, Tn.(20 minute drive from Blue Ridge). Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

July 04, 2014 Lake Blue Ridge Fireworks, Lake Blue Ridge Marina 335 Marina Drive. Celebrate Independence Day on the lake with music, BBQ, and special events beginning at 3 p.m. at lake Blue Ridge Marina. Awesome fireworks display at dusk. July 05, 2014 Fourth of July Day Parade, Downtown Blue Ridge, Hwy.76/515 to Blue Ridge, turn right at United Community Bank. An old-fashioned Fourth of July parade but on July 5th in downtown Blue Ridge. Begins at 10:00 a.m. Many floats etc… bring out the family. Blue Ridge Business Association
