Heather Renee’ Towery: Obituary

Heather Renee’ Towery, age 37, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her home. She was born June 30, 1976 in Plantation, FL. Heather was a graduate of the University of Central Florida with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She had previously worked as a social worker with child protective services. Heather was a member of the United States Swim Team for fourteen years. She loved horses, dogs and the water. Heather was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Edna Towery.

Survivors include her parents, Joe and Betty Towery of Anderson, SC; her fiance’, David Wright of Anderson, SC; brother, Michael Towery of Rochester, NY; maternal grandmother, Betty White of Blairsville, GA; nephews, Cole and Grayson Towery; her dogs, Bo and Taz; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends at the mortuary following the service. The family is at the home of her parents, 113 Coachman Drive, Anderson, SC.
