eBOARD Announces the 2014 Awards of Excellence

Media Release: June 13, 2014 – eBOARDsolutions is proud to announce the winners for the 2014 eBOARD Awards of Excellence.
The recognition program was designed to showcase technology best practices in governance and leadership in the areas of strategic plan management, leadership evaluations, meetings administration, policy administration and internal and external communications.

This year’s Best Overall Use of eBOARD goes to Fannin County Schools, Georgia. Fannin County uses eBOARD extensively throughout the school system at both district and school levels.

The district of around 3,000 students currently manages 14 meeting types. Their eBOARD site includes the most recent information concerning their board of education meetings, accreditation, local school governance team meetings, strategic plans, policies, evaluations, and calendars.

eBOARD ensures that the vision and purpose of the school system remains current and aligned with the expectations in support of student learning and the effectiveness of the school system and its schools.

2nd Place – Richmond County Schools, GA
3rd Place – Madison County Schools, GA & Oconee County Schools, GA

Evaluation Module:
1st Place – Fannin County Schools, GA
2nd Place – Oconee County, GA & Houston County Schools, GA
3rd Place – Gasconade Co. R-I Schools, MO

Newcomer Awards:
Education – Tallassee City Schools, AL
Non- Education – Allegheny County Airport Authority, PA
