MECHS Class of 2014 Graduation Ceremony

The Mountain Education Charter High School for Union and Fannin counties presented its seniors with diplomas last Thursday night. The graduation ceremony was held at the Performing Arts Center at the Fannin County High School. The Mountain Education Charter High School is a collaborative effort of the Georgia Department of Education and Bowman, Fannin, Forsyth, Gilmer, Habersham, Lumpkin, Pickens, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, and White County school system. MECHS opened in 1993 and became a state chartered school in 2007. There are currently eleven locations across North Georgia.
