Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for May. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for May are: Ashley Brackett (Team 8A), daughter of Billy & Amber Brackett of Blue Ridge; Jordan Newman (Team 8A), son of Greg & Debra Newman of Blue Ridge; Emily Garrison (Team 8B), daughter of Rodney & Vickie Garrison of Epworth; and Jonas Garcia (Team 8B), son of Jonas Garcia & Blanca Palomo of Blue Ridge.
