Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for April. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for April are: Emily Hamilton (Team 8A), daughter of George & Suzanne Hamilton of Blue Ridge; Austin Panter (Team 8A), son of Kevin & Lorraine Panter of Blue Ridge; Lillyanna Ballew (Team 8B), daughter of Chavonne Ballew of Morganton; and Drew Foresman (Team 8B), son of Chris & Paige Foresman of Epworth.
