Garvin “Ray” Bell, Jr., age 59, of Blue Ridge, GA, formerly of Canton, GA, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA.Mr. Bell was born on September 30, 1954 in Atlanta, GA. He was owner of Bell Concete Walls in Canton, GA and was a party at His Hands Church in Woodstock, GA.. He was preceded in death by his mother, Oma Maddox Bell.
Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Pepper McConnell Bell of the home; father, “Garvin” R. Bell, Sr. of Marietta, GA; brothers, Douglas Bell of Woodstock, GA and Russell Bell of NC; his canine family, Sara Bell and Musa Bell of the home; and his equestrian family Springloaded Bell and Jezabelle Bell of the home.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. from the His Hand Church in Woodstock, GA with Brothers Tom Grady, Charlie Burtner, Harold Hitt, Jim Harrison, and Anthony Meadows officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 4:00 until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made or persons become a member of the NRA.
