Julie Jacobs competed at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany, GA on May 1, 2014. She tied for third at the Sectional track tournament that was on April 26th
at East Jackson High School where her teammate Madison Franklin competed by her side.By placing top 8 at Sectionals in the pole vault she qualified for the state track meet. Julie finished the season as a top sixteen pole vaulter in the AAA classification. Her PR this year was 8 feet.
