Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball player, Amy Mintz, has signed a scholarship with Truett-McConnell. The Lady Rebel will join the Lady Bears coached by Jenni Shephard. The Lady Bears could use a player of Mintz’s caliber, as the Truett-McConnell finished the 2014 with an 11-36 record overall an a 3-17 AAC conference record.
Mintz, a power hitter, batted .404 for the Lady Rebels last season and was named First Team All-Region 7-AAA, it was her second time making the All-Region team.
