Patricia Laverne Northam : Obituary

Patricia Laverne Northam, age 80 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at her home.She was born Friday, January 26, 1934 in West Palm Beach, FL and was the daughter of the late Bruce Trevens Burrus, Sr. and Verna Cooner Burrus. Mrs. Northam was the wife of the late Deaver Northam. She had been a preschool teacher and bus driver at Westwood Christian Day School in Miami, FL. Mrs. Northam was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC.

Survivors are son, Bruce Northam of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Donna Wilson of Signal Mountain, TN, Terrie Northam of Blue Ridge, GA, Patti Lenhard (David) of Homosassa, FL and Pamela Maple and (Robert) of Williston, FL; sisters, Virginia Yearty of Silver Springs, FL and Jeanelle Longwell of Hazlehurst, GA; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with another on the way.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday April 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon from the Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Music will be provided by Greg Triplett. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 12:00 noon.
