Mark Patterson : Obituary

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mr. Mark James Patterson, age 47, of Morganton, Georgia, who passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, following a brief illness.Mark was born in Dalton, Georgia, on December 20, 1966, a son of the late Charles James Patterson and Regina Foster Patterson. He had lived in Blairsville since 2002, moving here from Dalton, Georgia. Mark was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mark was loved so much, and will be missed greatly, especially by his family: wife, Amy Patterson, of Morganton; mother, Regina Patterson, of Dalton; step-son, Travis Lively, of Blairsville; sister, Elaine Patterson and brother, Michael Lee Patterson, both of Dalton; a granddaughter, Cameron Lively; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Rev. Luther Thomas officiating. Special music will be presented by Rev. Luther Thomas and Sally Roberson. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Jason Patterson, Jason Brown, J.R. Green, Travis Lively, Steve Foster, and Forrest Braun. Burial will be in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends at Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville between the hours of 6 until 8 p.m., on Friday, March 28th.
