Barbara Elizabeth Ballentine : Obituary

Mrs. Barbara Elizabeth Ballentine, age 79, of Copperhill went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 20, 2014.Barbara was born in Chester County, PA to the late Carlton and Elsie Wertz Pierce. She had formerly worked as a Sales Clerk with WalMart. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Copperhill. Barbara was also preceded in death by daughter, Teresa Ann Jones.

She will be sadly missed by daughters, Barbara Dowlin of Copperhill, TN and Debbie (Charles) Scott of Jasper, GA; brother, Preston (Sharon) Pierce of Honeybrook, PA; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted Saturday, March 22nd at 4:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church in Copperhill with Brother David Anderson officiating. Visitation at the church will be from 3:00 p.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m. Following the Memorial Service a fellowship dinner in celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at the church Legacy Hall in her memory. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
