Justin “Judd” Timothy Stanley, age 53 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.He was born on Monday, August 29, 1960 in Gilmer County, GA. Justin was a carpenter for Sisson Log Homes. He was a Christian. Justin was preceded in death by his father, William Grady Stanley; brothers, Jerry and Roy Lee Stanley and sister, Jeanie Bartholomew.
Survivors are wife, Julie Stewart Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Bryan Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and James Beavers of Blairsville, GA and Tara and Judson Garland of St. Vincent , MN; mother, Pauline Cochran Stewart of Dial, GA; brothers, Jim Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA, Joe Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA, James (Patsy) Stanley and Jeff (Shirley) Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Nicole, Emma and Will Nichols, Haley, Matthew, Hannah and Zachary Nelson, Aubree and Allyson Beavers, Harley and Prestle Stanley, Kayleigh Ross, Rylee and Brenly Flowers; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday March 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Ron Davis and Corey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zachary Nelson, Michael Thomas, Judson Garland, David Stewart, Jason Stanley and Harold Rhodes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dusty Stanley, Brad Curtis, Tim Stewart and Hector Rose. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
