The Fannin County High School FFA Floriculture Career Development Event Team competed in the area 1 competition on which was held on November 12 at Paulding County High School. The team placed 10th earning them a gold ranking. Seth Davis placed 22nd out of 74 contestants. Other team members are Katelyn Mealer, Amy Reynolds, and Taylor VanZandt.
