James Henry Stuart : Obituary

Mr. James Henry Stuart, age 85, of Gainesville, GA passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Gainesville, GA.He was born March 10, 1925 in Fannin County, GA to the late William Theodore Stuart and Mary Etta Sneed Stuart. He worked as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office, was a member of Kingtown Baptist Church, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, and was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rethel Arvila Bridges Stuart.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Sue of Gainesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Chris Bolle; grandchildren, Melissa Stuart Miller, Jim Stuart, Amy Taylor Wright, Roxannce Taylor Wall and Paula Taylor Cathy; eight grandchildren; special friends at the Village Restaurant, Vicki , Sara and friends; special friends at The Blue Ridge Pawn Shop, Linda and Brian, Kim Colby, and Karis.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Serving as pallbeaers will be Troy Miller, Brian Nix, Roger Garland, Robert Panter, Reggie Sexton, and Ted Lynch.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m.
