Mr. Edward Arthur Lague, age 84, of Ducktown, TN passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Mr. Lague was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Joseph Henry and Emma Caron Lague. He was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S.Army and retired after many years of serving as a Chef. He continued to work as a Chef until his final retirement.
He is survived by son George (Donna) Lague of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Carol Brown of Ducktown, TN; brothers, Norman Lague of St. Petersburg, FL, Henry Lague of Boston, MA; five grandchildren, Emily (Chris) Cook, Hank Lague, Gilbert (Megan) Brown, Hannah Brown, Randy Lague; three great grandchildren, Cohutta Brown, Trenton Cook, Colton Cook.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 1st, at 2:00 p.m. from Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Keith Smith officiating. Music will be by Amy Carter and Clarice Wilcox. Internment will be in the Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL.
