Betty Jo Maney : Obituary

Mrs. Betty Jo Maney, age 78 of Epworth, passed away January 27, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Maney was born September 8, 1935 in Epworth, GA to the late Fred Millsaps and the late Arthur Early Millsaps. She was preceded in death by her husband O.J. Maney, son Michael Dillard and brother Charles Millsaps in addition to her parents.

She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and playing softball.

Survivors include: son, James Terry Dillard, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Cathy and Juan Dillard-Sanchez, sister and brother-in-law Susan and Winfred Morris, grandsons, Randy Dillard, Marty Sanchez, Jeremy Loudermilk, Jamie Dillard and Jody Dillard, special great-granddaughter and caregiver, Katie Dillard, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Claude Mathis and Rev. David McLendon officiating. Music provided by: Carol Jean Thomas. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Winfred Morris, David Patterson, Jamie Dillard, Jody Dillard, Brett Dillard and Jeremy Loudermilk.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
