Court Cancelled for Mother of Child that Died in Foster Care

As FYN has previously reported, Jennifer Palmer, mother of the two year old that was sustained fatal injuries while in Foster Care in a home in Ringold, GA was scheduled to go to court this morning for a hearing to determine if she can regain custody of her two other children. Due to the weather that we currently have, the staff at the Appalachian Juvenile Court determined it would be too dangerous and cancelled all hearings that were scheduled for today, Monday, January 6th. A new court date for six year old Elijah and one month old Daniel to be returned to their mother will be scheduled.

Stay tuned to FYN for the latest developments regarding this Mother’s custody battle against the state of Georgia.
