FCHS & Taco Bell Team Up for Graduation Rates

With a demand for educated employees increasing, Taco Bell has created the Taco Bell Commit to Graduate Challenge. Fannin County High school is one of the 1,000 schools nationwide to participate in this challenge. The challenge offers a points system that allows schools to earn points when their students make the commitment and to earn extra points when they check back with the website. Fannin County was the first school to reach the maximum threshold of 160 points for commitments and 40 points for check backs.

The country is divided into 18 regions and one school from each region will be selected as the winner and will receive $5,000. The top three winners in the country will receive a Taco Bell truck party for the entire school.

Taco Bell officials visited Fannin County High School to commend the remarkable progress of the school and treated teachers and staff with tacos and burritos as they discussed the efforts expended to make the program such a success.

FCHS hopes to win the regional and national level prizes. FYN will keep you updated on the outcome.
