GBI speaks on Fannin Double Shooting

Fannin County Sheriffs Office had a busy night. This comes after reports of a shooting in the Mineral Bluff area.FYN has found out that at least two people were injured.
The incident occurred in the early morning of Sunday December 8th around 2:30.
FYN has spoken to Sheriff Dane Kirby.
Kirby let FYN know that he would make a statement when more information becomes available.
Kirby would let FYN know that the GBI had taken over the investigation.

Fannin County Double Shooting
Mineral Bluff, GA – At approximately 12:38 AM, The Fannin County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a shooting which occurred at 781 Ross Rd. in Mineral Bluff, Georgia.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Cleveland Office was requested to assist with the investigation.
Two people were involved in the shooting, Lawrence Joseph Prisco and Daniel Neale.
Prisco, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, suffered a head injury and died as a result of the shooting.
Neale, of Dalton, Georgia, was hospitalized as a result of his injuries.
