The Fannin County Recreation Department hosted the Georgia Recreation and Park Association District/State U12 girls soccer tournament on Friday and Saturday November 15th and 16th.

Teams from Fannin, Calhoun, Bremen, Bartow, and Pickens participated in the tournaments. The Fannin Girls went on to win the Championship trophy and is declared as the District/State champs since there isn’t a state to advance on to.

Girls participating on the team are: Ana Arvidson, Taylor Coleman, McKenzie Fischer, Ashley Frye,
Liberty Giet, Patience Giet, Sydnie Jones, Abigail Ledford, Tara Ledford, Desaray Patterson, Olivia Sisson Sarah Sosebee, Kinsley Sullivan. Coach, Dennis Patterson and Sandy Parks.
