The Fannin Co Recreation Department hosted the Georgia Recreation and Park Association District/State U10 soccer tournament. With teams from Fannin, Pickens, Calhoun, Bremen, and Bartow Co all participating.The Fannin County Girls marched through the tournament to win the Championship trophy. Winning this tournament is known as the District, but since there were no others participating in the State this has been declared as a State victory also.

Girls on the U10 team are: Chelsey Frye, Tempest Giet, Ivy Hyde, Rachael Jessen, Annabel Lillard, Zoe Mathis, Madison Ponton, Hallie Sosebee, Hannah Sosebee, Lily Waldrep, Haleigh Willingham, Reagan York.
Coaches are Nancy Jessen and Phillip Ledford.
