Being a nerd usually isn’t a good thing but West Fannin Elementary was invaded by nerds on Wednesday, October 29, 2013.Suspenders, thick glasses, pocket protectors and more were the components of the students and staff’s apparel this week. The theme for the day was “Too Smart for Drugs” as it was for Red Ribbon Week and students took a pledge to refuse drugs.
FYN enjoyed seeing all of the nerds that WFES had to offer and would like to encourage everyone out there to be too smart for drugs and refrain from drug use.
