Glenn William “T-Bone” Watkins, age 66 of Epworth, GA passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. He was born Monday, August 18, 1947 in Blue Ridge, GA and was the son of the late Clifford Watkins and Allis Standridge Watkins. “T-Bone” was employed by Road Max Trucking. He was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Watkins; brother, Benny Watkins.
Survivors are his wife, Kelly Marlow Watkins of the home; son, Ryan (Annna) Watkins of Epworth, GA, daughters, Brandy Cooper of Epworth, GA and Amber Wakins, brother, Herbert (Regina) Watkins of Laverne, AL, sister, Evelyn (Nolan) Campbell of Blue Ridge, GA; sister-in-law, Barbara Watkins. three grandchildren, Erica Watkins, Austin Watkins and Tyler Watkins .
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with the Rev. Joey Whittenbarger officiating. Eulogy was by Brandy Cooper. Interment followed in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
