What do you get when you have slip & slides, a fire truck, snow cones and hundreds of kids on a hot day in August? PBIS Water Day!The students at East Fannin Elementary had the opportunity to take the afternoon off from classes and enjoy outdoor activities mentioned above. The Fannin County Fire Department was there to make the day special for the kids…it isn’t every day you get to be sprayed by a fire truck. After the kids had a turn on the field with the truck and on the hill with the slip & slide, they ventured over to dry out while they had a snow cone.
Days like this are made possible by earning Dolphin Dollars, a school wide currency, which allows students the opportunity to spend their earned Dolphin Dollars to participate in fun events of the sort. This is one of many fun days brought to the students by Positive Behavior Intervention System, also known as PBIS.
Congratulations to the students at East Fannin Elementary! We can’t wait to see what you earn next.
