Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Proctor Carlisle, age 75, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her home. Frances was born June 13, 1938 in Forsyth, GA to the late Howard and Laura Shepard Proctor. Frances lived in Blue Ridge, since 1992 moving here from Cedartown, GA. Frances had been employed by the Fannin County Board of Education as a teacher substitute at East and West Fannin Elementary schools, and she volunteered on the Blue Ridge Railroad. She was a writer having written one book and was a great cook. She spoke two languages, English and Spanish. Frances loved her family, horses, traveling, her cat, Sassy and riding on the Harley Davidson with John.
Frances was survived by her husband, John Carlisle; four children, Beth and Bruce Mobley, Laura and Keith Walker, Bill and Denise Stroud, and Linda and Kenny Scott; four step-children, Warren and Kathy Carlisle, Becky and Curt Harshman, Betty Carlisle and Allan Carlisle; three sisters, Nell and husband Dennis Chase, Faye Smith and Becky Winger; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be two memorial services, one in Spanish, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 5:00 pm at the Kingdom of Hall Jehovah’s Witness in Ellijay, GA and the second one will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at The Kingdom of Hall Jehovah’s Witness in Blue Ridge GA.
