Dorothy “Granny” Green : Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Mildred Panter Green, affectionately known to family and friends as “Granny”,age 78, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on on August 28, 2013. She was a member of the Pantertown Baptist Church. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her mother, Tobitha Panter. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mike Chastain of Mineral Bluff, GA; granddaughter, Amelia Fisher and her husband Chad; great grandchild, Connor Fisher; and several cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m. from the Salem #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Music will be provided by the Caylor Family. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Josh Thomas, Jeremy Smith, Johnny Hughes, Dwayne Walden, Van Walden, and Derrick Walden.
